The ones I ordered were in multicam with a black cross and a red one with a white cross. It used to be that they offered it in OD green with a red cross on it. Of these, that one was my preference. The advantage of the 1-inch patch is that it is small enough not to call attention to itself at a distance like a 2-inch patch, particularly in red, would do. The 1-inch patch, particularly the OD green and red one they discontinued, was only immediately evident at a few feet distance, which was perfect in that it makes the location of your fist aid kit obvious to persons close enough to you to use it, but not obvious at the distances one would typically be from people one might want to avoid getting up close and personal with. It doesn't defeat the purpose of camouflage. In the case of the multicam offering, it is very good, but perhaps a little too low profile, and is easier to miss than the OD green and red offering was. The red and white is obvious enough to be quickly found, but maybe just a little too obvious. It threatens to compromise the camouflage, but nowhere near as badly as a 2-inch patch would. Guys, bring back the OD green and red. It was the best version of this you ever made.
